Is Britmix HAPAS Approved?
Britmix is currently undergoing the HAPAS approval process. Britmix is accepted for use in all of Sweden's municiple highway authorities.
How does it work?
Without divulging trade secrets, the product is pressure activated, just like sticking tape.
What is the 'Britmix Method'?
Nobody else has a two stage installation for pothole repairs. The Britmix Method provides a superior surface profile and a an unfailable repair joint.
How long should the repair last?
Correctly installed Britmix should last at least as long as the surrounding Asphalt. We expect a minimum of 3 years and have proven repairs of over 10 years old.
What is it made of?
Britmix is a hot mixed asphalt manufactured to BS EN 13108-1 : 2016. It contains aggregate, bitumin and a secret sauce!
What is the shelf life?
We recommend that you use unopened bags within 2 years and open bags within a month.
