Britmix 6mm

Britmix 6mm is a Bituminous mixture conforming to BS EN 13108-1 : 2016. It is manufactured under licence in the UK by Jobling Purser.

Its intended usage is for surface courses, binder courses, regulating courses and bases of roads and other trafficked areas.

Manufactured as a traditional Hot Mix Asphalt in a standard batching plant, the Bitumen Binder is modified with an activating agent that both lubricates the mix and is activated by compaction.

Britmix 10mm

Britmix 10mm is manufactured to the same method as the 6mm but with a larger aggregate size.

This product is for base level and surface repairs, where it is used as a direct replacement of HMA. This application requires either traditional joint overbanding or can be used as part one of the Britmix Method 2 stage repair process.
